We aim to provide prospective degree-seeking students and exchange students opportunities to study, explore and immerse themselves into Chinese culture. We also aim to provide opportunities for Chinese students to study abroad and have a better understanding of different cultures around the world.

UIC is China’s first liberal arts college. Since its establishment in 2005 it has grown into an educational institution with over 6,000 students and, academic staff from more than 30 countries. The official language of UIC is English, and we welcome applicants from all over the world who have a good command of English and would like to live in an exciting environment in the southern part of China. Zhuhai is a dynamically developing city with almost 2 million people and is conveniently close to Macau and Hong Kong. Zhuhai is a coastal city and UIC’s campus is surrounded by mountains which adds to its beautiful natural scenery.

UIC puts a lot of emphasis on developing international partnerships. We collaborate with academic institutions in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, the UK and the US; arrange exchange programmes, short courses for visiting international students and regular summer programmes abroad for UIC students.
